General Description:
Three Corners Club helps students build confidence, workplaces skills, and independence while preparing for life after high school.
Thing We Work On:
Career Exploration
Students learn about different careers, workplaces, and career pathways that match their interests and strengths.
Job Readiness Skills
Students practice completing applications, creating resumes, interviewing, communicating professionally, and understanding workplace expectations.
Work-Based Learning & Community Experience
Students participate in hands-on experience that allows them to learn about real workplaces and practice skills in community settings.
We also offer a Summer Work Program. The SWP gives the students the opportunity to get a job for the summer and earn money.
Workplace Readiness Training
We help the students develop skills such as punctuality, teamwork, problem solving, responsibility, appropriate workplace behavior, and communication skills.
Life Skills
Students have opportunities to learn practical skills such as cooking, organization and money management.
Self-Advocacy
We help students learn how to communicate their needs, understand their strengths, make decisions, and speak up for themselves.
Each student in Three Corners works with an Employment Specialist who provides encouragement, guidance and support based on the student's individual goals. All Three Corner students are automatic in Three Corners Club. This is a FREE club!
