ECHS Automotive Technology Students Recognized

The 2016-2017 school year is almost over, but this year has not passed without producing several automotive technology students with Industry certifications and enduring skills as they head toward their future careers.
Industry certification is a process of program evaluations ensuring that the individual program meets industry standards in the areas of curriculum, teacher qualification, lab specifications, equipment, and industry involvement.
Automotive technology students have two options in order to become Industry certified. Students must pass the Kentucky Occupational Skills Standards Assessment and or the Automotive Service Excellence Assessment. These assessments are highly regarded and provide students with an advantage when entering the automotive career field.
